Job Summary

Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery; prevent and treat lameness by hoof trimming; assist the veterinarian before, during and after surgery; administer treatments as prescribed; counsel clients on animal health care; perform office management and clerical duties; provide nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, wound and bandage care. Specialization: small animals and animal training.

Responsibilities
  • Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.

Qualifications
