$37.00 /hour (35 to 40 hours per week)
Permanent, Full time. Shifts – Morning, Day, Weekend, On‑call. Starts as soon as possible.
Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery; prevent and treat lameness by hoof trimming; assist the veterinarian before, during and after surgery; administer treatments as prescribed; counsel clients on animal health care; perform office management and clerical duties; provide nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, wound and bandage care. Specialization: small animals and animal training.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
Valid driver’s licence.
Personal suitability: Attention to detail, fast‑paced environment, ability to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand and walk; accurate, efficient interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication; flexibility.
