Walden Animal Hospital, part of VetStrategy, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, supportive team in Northern Ontario. The role blends general medicine with urgent/emergency care, mentored by an experienced group, with flexible scheduling and a strong community focus.

With six veterinarians and a skilled support team, you’ll work in a recently renovated hospital offering advanced diagnostics, surgery, and client education. Ontario licensing eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Eligible for veterinary licensing in Ontario.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.

What You Bring

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Eligible for veterinary licensing in Ontario
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Interest in practicing both general medicine and urgent/emergency care
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a positive team culture
• Interest in surgery, dentistry, or expanding procedural skills is considered an asset
• Restricted license candidates may be considered provided local on‑call competency requirements can be met
