Introduction

We are hiring for a Veterinarian (DVM) for one of our veterinary clients based in Hamilton, Ontario. This clinic offers a truly unique veterinary experience rooted in both clinical excellence and compassionate care. Set on a beautiful, natural property, this clinic is intentionally designed to support a fear‑free environment. Dogs can enjoy peaceful walks around the grounds to stretch their legs and unwind after their car ride, helping them feel calm and at ease before their visit. This connection to nature allows the team to engage with relaxed patients, creating low‑stress, positive interactions that benefit both pets and caregivers. This clinic offers full‑time hours of 4 days a week, 10 hours per day, and occasional Saturdays, or a part‑time schedule where the candidate must commit to 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception who value communication, respect, and clinical excellence.
• Deliver the gold standard of medicine and surgery within a collaborative environment of skilled, supportive professionals.
• Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) play an integral role in every patient visit, working closely alongside exceptional team members and highly trained DVMs who bring a gentle, patient‑centered approach to care.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience and demonstrate a high standard of medical expertise, including proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.
• Confident in making independent decisions, managing complex cases, and responding to emergencies.
• Primarily responsible for clinical care, the DVM will leverage their medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership for the team.
• Hold or are eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of their application.
