Job summary

Moxy Montreal Centre-Ville is hiring a Maintenance Worker to perform space maintenance, cleaning, repairs and inspections to keep both exterior and interior areas in good condition. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves teamwork with housekeeping and the technical maintenance team.

Responsibilities include snow removal, lot maintenance, light bulb replacement, waste handling and contributing to site upgrades. Availability includes day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma completed.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a dishwasher.
• Reliable and responsible team player.
• Able to work under pressure and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Keep property entrances and accesses clean and safe.
• Keep underground parking lot clean and safe.
• Remove snow and/or salt from exterior entrances (winter).
• Remove winter protection and open the lot in spring.
• Close the lot at the end of the season and install winter protection.
• Maintain exterior landscaping; mow lawns, trim hedges and shrubs, clear undergrowth, do gardening and maintain flowers and plants, do watering.
• Assist and remove waste containers with the technical maintenance team.
• Change light bulbs in common areas.
• Sweep, clean or vacuum various rooms and storage areas.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to collect dirt and garbage throughout the site.
• Arrange equipment in appropriate locations; take care of equipment provided.
• Have a preventive concern for safety of the site, building and equipment.
• Contribute to projects and upgrades; participate in general room maintenance.
