Job summary

A leading engineering company in Montreal is seeking a Verification and Validation Specialist/Engineer responsible for overseeing the quality of SBS products and solutions. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in verification methodology. Proficiency in protocols, test automation, and agile environments is essential. Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with agile environments.
• Solid experience in functional and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the verification and validation of products.
• Develop and document test plans, execute tests and generate reports.
• Train individuals involved in verification and validation activities.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent understanding of verification methodology

Knowledge of protocols (TCP, IP, Zigbee, etc.)

Knowledge of Restful web services

Test automation and continuous integration

Functional and performance testing experience

Education

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
