Jim Pattison Toyota Duncan is seeking a dependable Car Wash Attendant to support our service team. You’ll help keep vehicles looking their best when they’re returned to customers, with a careful eye for detail and genuine pride in your work.

This entry-level role offers full-time, permanent hours and a starting wage of $19 per hour. You’ll work outdoors in all weather, operate cleaning tools, and contribute to a positive customer experience in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract are required.
• Previous automotive industry experience is an asset.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.
• Physically active role with outdoor work in all weather.

Introduction

Jim Pattison Toyota Duncan is seeking a dependable, well-organized, and high-energy Car Wash Attendant to support our dealership team. Working alongside our Service department, you’ll help ensure every vehicle looks its best when it’s returned to our customers.

You’ll bring a careful eye for detail and genuine pride in your work, helping create a great customer experience that reflects our dedication to the people we serve. This position is an excellent entry point into the automotive industry, with plenty of room to grow and build your career.

Schedule:

Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week.

Pay:

$19 per hour

Service Manager

A Day in the Life

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Carefully move, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles
• Promptly report any potential issues with vehicles or dealership property
• Safely use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company and customer information
• Help foster a supportive and engaging work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract are required

• This is a physically active role that involves:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership and lot
  • Walking or standing for extended periods
  • Regularly driving automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, including handling various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Spending significant time outdoors in all weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (conditions are monitored for safety as needed)
