Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Vehicle Delivery Specialist to be the face of our company as we scale our online car marketplace in Canada. You will deliver vehicles to customers' doors, provide exceptional service, and maintain safety and accuracy in paperwork and vehicle inspections.

This permanent full-time role requires a valid Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and availability at least 40 hours per week. We offer comprehensive benefits from day one and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years experience transporting vehicles and 2+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Comfortable driving longer distances and in a fast-paced environment.
• Have automotive experience and passion for cars; valid Class 5 license; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles to customers’ front doors across the region.
• Provide exceptional customer service and be the face of the company.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic and mechanical issues and document findings.
• Complete customer paperwork accurately and maintain notes in the tracking system.

About the role:

We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and excellence. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Vehicle Delivery Specialist to be the face of our company! Since our entire car-buying process is online, you’ll be the first Clutch employee our customers meet when they pick up or sell their vehicle. You'll have the freedom to go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer and transportation role.

What you’ll do:

• Delivering a uniquely special experience to each and every one of our customers.
• Responsible for safely operating a flatbed truck to transport client vehicles and deliver them directly to their front door across the region
• A major part of this job is having exceptional customer service skills, where you’ll be the face of the company in addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.
• Need a sharp eye for detail as you inspect vehicles, carefully assessing both cosmetic and mechanical aspects to identify potential issues, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to our customers.
• You will be accurately and efficiently completing customer paperwork as well as taking thorough notes in our customer tracking system.
• You’ll also be a team player by assisting other team members with various tasks as necessary.

What we’re looking for:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• 1+ years experience transporting vehicle & 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Comfortable driving longer distances.
• Have automotive experience and a passion for cars & comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• License: Minimum Class 5 License
• Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.

• A passion for cars and the automotive industry
• Experience with warranty products so that you can answer any question that arise during the process

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $22.50 per hour
