A leading engineering firm in Mississauga is seeking a VDC Technician to support VDC functions across projects, assisting with compliance, delivering documentation, and utilizing emerging VDC technologies. Ideal candidates should have an Associate's degree in CAD or a Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture, and some experience in the industry. Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.

The VDC Technician will perform VDC functions for the team on all projects, as well as assist the VDC Project Coordinator with coordinating with clients and sub-consultants on VDC standards. This person will work closely with CRB project discipline leads and the VDC Regional Manager on internal VDC standardization. Projects will consist of both existing building renovations and new construction. Project sizes will vary and require documentation for various disciplines including but not limited to Architecture, Electrical, Fire Protection, HVAC, Piping (Mechanical, Process, Plumbing) and Structural. This person should also have a passion for VDC innovations and emerging technologies in the AEC industry.
