Job summary

Turner Construction Canada in Toronto seeks an experienced VDC coordinator to review design models and support BIM workflows on active projects. You will coordinate 2D/3D documents, perform quality checks, and assist with submittals, RFIs, and production tracking on site.

A bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field and at least 3 years of experience are required; proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and ACC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field with minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, and schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating with teams.
• Willingness to travel as required and work on-site at construction locations.
• Proficiency with BIM tools (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD) and review of design models.

Responsibilities

• Read and review plans and specifications to support VDC processes and contractual requirements.
• Perform VDC quality control on models, manage files, and document control.
• Work on-site, build stakeholder relationships, and help resolve constructability issues.
• Assist with BIM coordination, submittals, RFIs, and related workflows.
• Maintain BIM coordination schedule and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
