Description

Volunteer and make a difference with Special Olympics BC! SOBC has a wide variety of coaching and volunteer roles to help make a difference in our athletes’ lives.

Whether you can give a few hours at an event or want to get involved weekly in our year‑round programs, we have a position for you. Positions include head coach, assistant coach, program volunteer, Local Committee member, and event volunteer. You can make a difference with your time and talents in a wide range of roles.

Requirements

• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
• Minimum age: adult (age 18‑54) – specific roles may have different age requirements
• Resume may be required for administrative volunteer roles
• Flexible scheduling; role may be on‑site at various locations across BC
