Indigo in downtown Ottawa is seeking a motivated Valet Attendant to greet customers, assist with their needs, and drive vehicles to the designated parking locations. The role requires a valid Class G Ontario driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

You should have a clean driving record, be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions, and bring strong communication and time-management skills. Bilingual English/French is a strong asset but not mandatory.

• Greet customers politely and assist with their needs on site.
• Drive customers' vehicles to and from parking locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and ensure vehicles are secured after parking.

Responsabilités

• Greet customer on arrival.
• Assist with needs including opening doors, unloading parcels, and directing in appropriate direction.
• Issue and collect valet tickets as required.
• Drive vehicles to designated location safely and efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles are locked and valuables moved to the trunk.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Greet customer in a friendly manner when they arrive on site
• Assist customer with their needs including opening vehicle doors, unloading parcels, and directing in appropriate direction
• Issue and collect valet tickets as required
• Drive customers' vehicles to and from the designated parking location in a safe and efficient manner avoiding accidents and damages
• Ensure vehicles are locked after parking and all visible valuables are moved to the trunk

What Are the Working Conditions?

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to all temperature conditions
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and twisting
• Must be able to lift-up to 20 lbs.

What Are We Looking For?

• Cautious and courteous driver, with a Valid class G Ontario driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must able to drive manual and automatic transmission.
