Enbridge is seeking a Utility Services Representative in Timmins, ON. This full-time, unionized position offers training and a clear progression path from C2 to A1 within the USR program. Responsibilities include safe operation, emergency response, customer interaction, and compliance with company standards.

The role requires Grade 12, a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work standby shifts. A Gas Technician 2 certification is an asset.

Formación

• Must meet the Company's requirements as to General Qualifications.
• Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent and interest in natural gas utility operations.
• Able to obtain and maintain Gas Utility Technician and Pipeline Inspector certificates per TSSA timelines.
• Progress through USR steps (C2 to A1).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.
• Must be able to standby and work shifts as required.
• Physically capable of strenuous labor and PPE.
• TSSA Gas Technician 2 certification is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Safe and efficient execution of operations work including pipeline repairs and maintenance, valve inspection, and customer and distribution station maintenance.
• Perform natural gas emergency response activities including leaks, line breaks, and investigations; liaise with authorities as required.
• Interact with external customers in a positive, professional manner to uphold the company image.
• Promote distribution system protection and damage prevention awareness.
• Wear and maintain company uniforms and safety apparel.
• Participate on standby rotation; shift work may be required.

What you will do (Responsibilities):

• Safe and efficient execution of operations work including pipeline repairs and maintenance, valve inspection and maintenance, construction inspection, customer and distribution station maintenance, natural gas appliance inspection and activation, utilization inspections and infractions and other duties as required.
• Perform natural gas emergency response activities including line-breaks, leak and odour investigations, liaise with fire and police officials, TSSA Inspectors and others as required.
• Interact with external customers, maintaining a positive and professional manner that builds the Company image.
• Promote distribution system protection/damage prevention awareness including third party observation activities.
• Perform high quality work in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Wear and maintain company uniforms and safety apparel.
• Participate on standby rotation as required, and shift work may be required.

Who you are (Qualifications):

• Must meet the Company's requirements as to "General Qualifications".
• Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent and show an active interest in natural gas utility operations work and be able to learn from experienced team members.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Gas Utility Technician (Utility Technician) Certificate and a Pipeline Inspector's Certificate as established by the TSSA for natural gas distribution utilities within the required timeframe.
• Candidates are required to progress satisfactorily through all USR progression steps (C2 to A1)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Currently hold and retain appropriate driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn related company software.
• Must meet criteria for response while on standby and be prepared to work shifts as required.
• Must be physically capable to perform strenuous manual labour and be able to wear all appropriate safety and personal protective equipment.
• A Technical Standard and Safety Authority (TSSA) Gas Technician 2 certification will be considered an asset.
