Position Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week. It will be offered in accordance with conditions identified in the Collective Agreement between the City of Brandon and CUPE Local 69. First consideration will be given to current City of Brandon CUPE employees. The City of Brandon reserves the right to underfill this position.
Rate of Pay: $44.66 per hour

This selection process for this competition will include testing and an interview.
To perform a variety of duties related to the Millwright trade as part of a journeyperson team that
performs skilled maintenance work within the water and wastewater treatment facilities, lift and
booster stations, lagoons, and groundwater wells of Development Services.
NOTE: Will consider an Apprentice Millwright as an underfill, with a minimum of Level 1, with the expectation to achieve their Journeyperson Millwright certification within a period to be determined based on the initial Apprentice Level, and not to exceed forty-eight (48) months.
The Millwright works independently and as part of a team providing repairs or new installs to equipment on a daily basis.
