A local multi-utility provider is seeking a Utility Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and advanced MS Excel skills. Responsibilities include reconciliations, financial reporting, and support during audits. Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience is required. This position is located in Kingston, Ontario and offers opportunities to contribute to community service.

Primary Duties
The Utility Accountant contributes and supports the smooth delivery of assigned financial services across the corporation of Utilities Kingston. The incumbent is responsible for preparing, reporting and subsequent analysis and troubleshooting of reports for internal customers, preparing and supporting external reports to meet reporting requirements to regulating bodies, account reconciliations, coordinating the work order process with internal stakeholders, managing the process of billing for our fibre utility, participates in annual external audit process and other duties as required.
