Job Description
- Discovering hardware and software solutions
- Troubleshooting technical problems
- Identifying and repairing flaws.
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Hardware and software installation and configuration
- Speaking with customers to quickly determine the source of their problem.
- Giving customers timely and accurate feedback.
- Customers are guided through a series of steps to solve a problem.
- Following up with clients to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- Replace or repair the required components.
- Assisting with the deployment of new applications.
- Support is provided in the form of procedural documentation.
- Managing several cases at once.
- New technologies are being tested and evaluated.
- Checking the electrical safety of equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or information technology is required.
- It is advantageous to be certified for Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco.
- Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
- Working knowledge of remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving abilities are required.
Terms of Employment:
Salary: $31.00 - $46.75 per hour
