ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or site HR and Recruitment solutions complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

Do you have a passion for developing the latest and greatest user interfaces? Are you update-to-date on the latest UI web technologies? Our client is on the hunt for an independent, responsible and dynamic individual looking to become a member of an experienced, creative and ambitious team! You will participate in the development and production of interactive, online design projects for our clients. You have 4 to 5 years of industry experience as a user interface developer. Working and hands‑on experience in the interactive marketing and communications industry - developing rich multimedia content and data driven web applications are an asset to this position.

Skills

• Develop client side interfaces using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XSLT and others as required.
• Designing and developing the Template Architecture, and other relevant portions of the Interface Architecture and Interface Technical Specifications.
• Exposure to complex data‑driven web sites on various platforms.
• Intermediate to advanced domain over image editing programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks.

Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of professional experience in front‑end, web development.
• Exposure and understanding of complex data‑driven web sites on various platforms.
• Leadership and technical insight to achieve the best possible results in a timely manner.
• In‑depth knowledge of jQuery and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong grasp of semantic markup and progressive enhancement techniques.
