Job summary

Darling International Canada Inc. is seeking a Grease System Operator to handle used cooking oil, offload, operate equipment safely, and support plant operations. Rotating shifts include days, afternoons and nights, with a six-month contract.

Responsibilities cover offloading, filtering, loading finished products, and strict adherence to Health and Safety and HACCP protocols, including paperwork. Strong organizational and teamwork skills are essential to maintain orderly departments and safe

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts (days, afternoons, nights).
• Class G driver's license is required.
• Provincial Secondary School Diploma or greater is required.

Responsibilities

• Offloading Used Cooking Oil from tankers and drums.
• Offloading products for rendering from trailers and straight trucks.
• Filtering of finished product.
• Loading trucks with finished product Meat Meal and Tallow.
• Following all Health and Safety protocols.
• Following HACCP protocols including completion of paperwork.
• Maintain, clean and keep orderly the departments.
• Ensure shunt trucks, fleet tractors, and trailers are clean and presentable.
