Position: Senior Azure Logic Apps Developer

Description

This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Senior Azure Logic Apps Developer to build, enhance, and support API‑ and event‑driven integrations across ERP (light familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations), Dataverse/CRM, and third‑party systems. You’ll ship production‑ready workflows, harden reliability and security, and contribute to team standards.

Responsibilities

• Fix and build & enhance Logic Apps (Standard/Consumption): connectors, custom connectors, webhook triggers, managed identities, robust exception handling, and compensating actions.
• Implement APIs via APIM: policies, throttling, request/response transformation, OAuth2/JWT validation, client certs.
• Work with messaging/eventing: Event Grid, Service Bus (queues/topics/sessions), storage queues, timers; implement retries, idempotency, and DLQ handling.
• Secure implementations: Key Vault, private endpoints, VNET integration, IP restrictions, RBAC/PIM; protect secrets and PII.
• CI/CD & IaC: package, parameterize, and promote with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions; use Bicep/ARM (Terraform nice-to-have).
• Observability & support: instrument with App Insights/Log Analytics, write KQL queries, set actionable alerts, and contribute to runbooks.
• Standards & code quality: follow and improve naming/versioning, error schemas, correlation IDs; participate in design/code reviews and documentation.
• Collaborate: work with PMs, ERP/data teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver incremental value.

Must‑have qualifications

• 7+ years building integrations on Azure; 3+ years deep, production experience with Logic Apps.
• Strong with API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Storage, App Service/Functions.
• Proven CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and IaC (Bicep/ARM).
• Solid C#/.NET (plus JavaScript/PowerShell helpful) for custom connectors, utilities, and scripts.
• Experience implementing retries, idempotency, timeouts, and resiliency patterns.
• Comfort with App Insights + KQL for tracing and troubleshooting.

Nice‑to‑have

• Familiarity with D365 F&O integration points (Business Events, OData/Custom Services, Recurring Integrations, DMF, basic security/roles).
• Dataverse/Power Platform exposure (when to use Power Automate vs. Logic Apps).
• Microsoft Fabric/Data Factory/Synapse orchestration experience.
• Certifications: AZ-204, AZ-400 or AZ-305 (nice-to-have).

Success looks like (first month)

• Review existing Logic Apps portfolio, document gaps and quick wins, and deliver a prioritized fix list.
• Ship improvements to error handling, retries, and observability for at least one high-impact workflow.
• Partner with the PM to break down dev tasks and align with release cadence; contribute to shared templates and scripts.
