Job summary

COGIR Real Estate is hiring a Maintenance Director for a permanent full-time role. You will lead a maintenance team and ensure that all preventive maintenance is scheduled and executed correctly.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a warm and safe environment for our senior residents, managing equipment and renovations effectively. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience in building maintenance, with leadership qualities and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Ability to manage and resolve emergency situations.

Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and weekends as needed. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

• Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment
• Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
• Maintain and clean the premises
• Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
• Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
• Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
• Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
• Be available to respond to emergencies
• Management of the maintenance, upkeep and laundry team
