Job summary

Loblaw is seeking a Customer Experience Ambassador at Real Canadian Superstore in Red Deer to greet customers, assist with inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. You will collaborate with store colleagues to ensure a smooth flow at entrances and exits and help build positive relationships with customers.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, proactive safety awareness, and reliability in daily store operations, with ongoing training and development opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role preferred.
• Excellent customer service and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to work with store teams and in-person customers.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Assist customers with inquiries and guidance, including entry/exit flow support.
• Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards (e.g., spills) to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Respond calmly and effectively to urgent situations, escalating as needed for safety.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and customer satisfaction.

Our Customer Experience Ambassadors are the friendly faces who greet customers as they enter, offer assistance, and contribute to a positive and safe shopping environment.
