Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in underground ventilation engineering.
• Experience in underground mining projects during execution phases.
• Knowledge of underground mine fire/smoke emergency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ventilation engineering scope and VOD systems.
• Manage procurement packages related to underground ventilation.
• Plan and lead commissioning of ventilation systems.

Skills

Underground ventilation engineering

Bilingualism

Knowledge of Ventilation on Demand systems

Experience with Ventsim software

Knowledge of RSSTM/CNESST ventilation standards

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mining, or civil engineering

Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec)
