Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in underground mining, with 3-5 years in an underground training role.
• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and related regulations.
• Train the Trainer qualification from a recognized Ontario training provider.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and field-based training and assessments for health and safety.
• Evaluate worker competency in both theoretical and practical applications.
• Take ownership of health and safety issues using the Internal Responsibility System (IRS).
