Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Mine Technician or three-year Mine Technologist college degree or related experience.
• Minimum two years’ experience performing ventilation, surveying and/or similar work in an underground setting.
• Accreditation as a Certified Engineering Technician or Technologist (OACETT) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and issue drill patterns, loading and timing for production blasting.
• Conduct ventilation surveys and inspections to maintain compliance.
• Assist with underground surveying tasks and produce updated driving layouts.
