Job summary

A leading salt processing company based in Ontario is looking for a qualified individual to perform inspections and data handling in both surface and underground work areas. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mining or Civil Technology, along with at least 2 years of underground mining experience. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance with ventilation requirements and conducting bore scope inspections. Qualifications

  • EIT status or relevant diploma is required.
  • 2 years of underground mining experience is preferred.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of work areas both underground and surface.
  • Install geotechnical monitoring sensors.
  • Conduct bore scope inspections and generate reports.
  • Prepare ground control reports and CAD drawings.
  • Monitor air quality and generate ventilation reports.
  • Conduct audits for compliance with ventilation regulations.

EIT in Civil or Mining Engineering
2 years of experience in an underground mine
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
AutoCAD proficiency
Underground surveying experience
Exceptional communication skills

Education

3 Year Diploma in Mining or Civil Technology
2 Year Technician Diploma
