Job summary
A national logistics company is seeking experienced Underground Mechanics for remote project sites in Nunavut. Candidates must possess Journeyperson certification and underground equipment experience, particularly with Sandvik and Maclean machinery. Qualifications
- Underground equipment experience is required.
- Must be familiar with Sandvik Scoops, Dumps, drills.
- Previous experience working in a remote camp setting is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Repair and overhaul equipment components.
- Conduct test drives to verify vehicle performance.
- Maintain equipment operational through troubleshooting.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
