Job summary

A leading mining company in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Underground Haulage Operators on a full-time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting underground ore and waste material. Ideal applicants will have previous underground experience and relevant certifications. This role offers a competitive hourly salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan and health insurance. Relocation to Timmins is required.

Qualifications

About the Organization

Lake Shore Gold, a subsidiary of Pan American Silver, is located in Timmins, Ontario. The Bell Creek Complex, located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty metre deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire Underground Haulage Operators to join our team at the Bell CreekMine in Porcupine, ON on a full-time basis.

The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hr or 11 hr shifts rotating days and nights each week.

In this position, you will be responsible for transporting underground ore/waste material from various levels underground to the appropriate lay down areas.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

More About You

While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply.

• Must have specialty modules U0068, Haulage Trackless and U0091 Operate Haul Truck
• Experience operating 42 ton and 50 ton Atlas Copco trucks and Cat AD45 Haul Trucks would be considered an asset
• Must have previous underground experience
• Practice good housekeeping
• Be committed to safety
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
