Job summary

Aplin is seeking a licensed Red Seal Electrician for a hands-on underground mining role in Canada’s Arctic. The position offers a fly-in/fly-out rotation with full coverage of flights, accommodations, and meals.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment in an underground environment, with emphasis on safety and reliability. Underground experience and readiness for a remote site are essential.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician certification is required.
• 5+ years of underground mining experience.
• Ontario Underground Common Core is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground electrical equipment and components.
• Covered systems include Substations and Power Centers, Ventilation systems, Crushers, Conveyors, Dewatering Stations and Pumps.

• Competitive hourly ratewithdaily overtime; Annual Range: $120,000 - $170,000
• 12-hour shiftson a2 weeks in / 2 weeks outschedule

You’ll be responsible for themaintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground electrical equipment and components, including:

This is a hands-on role suited for Electricians who take pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently in an underground environment.
