Job summary

Northern Strands Group of Companies is seeking motivated Construction Miners for underground mining projects across Saskatchewan. Primary duties include operating underground equipment, performing cutting and drilling tasks, and contributing to the installation and rehabilitation of conveyor and structural systems.

Qualifications

Mining experience preferred but not required.
Construction and labour related experience is required.
Valid Driver’s license.
Manual dexterity to use power and hand tools.
Physically fit and capable of working long hours.

Responsibilities

Operate underground equipment such as scoops, skid steers, and drills.
Assist with installation and rehab of underground conveyor systems and structural components.
Perform maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
Follow health and safety standards and safe work practices on site.
Assist with onsite project preparation and material handling.
