Job summary

Technica Mining in Timmins, Ontario is seeking Boltec Operators to join our underground team. Multiple positions available, responsible for operating a Boltec rock bolter safely and efficiently while supporting development headings and ground support.

Candidates should have the Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core, Underground Specialty Module U0018, and five years of underground development experience; assets include U0068 A/B, U0089, and U0091.

Qualifications

• Must hold Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core or equivalent certification.
• Must possess Underground Specialty Module U0018.
• Assets: U0068 A or B, U0089, U0091 are beneficial.
• Five years of underground development experience is required.
• Commitment to safety and efficient underground operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Boltec mechanized rock bolter safely and efficiently.
• Inspect headings, manage ground support, and rehab drifts as needed.
• Support development activities including LHD operation and ventilation systems.
• Assist with mechanical installations and underground equipment upkeep.
