Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Oshawa is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to utilize ultrasound equipment for high-quality imaging. The ideal candidate will have completed an Ultrasound program and possess significant experience in various ultrasound procedures. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and readiness to participate in the standby rotation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and interventional ultrasound procedures.
• Post graduate experience in a hospital-based Ultrasound department preferred.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, turning, transferring patients manually and with mechanical aids.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality sonographic images.
• Assesses requests and prioritizes them to ensure excellent patient care.

Skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt to emergency situations

Education

Successful completion of a recognized Ultrasound program

Current registration with the C.M.R.I.T.O.
