Description of Duties
The consultant will lead the design of user-centered products and services for web and mobile applications at a Canadian financial institution.
  - Duties include creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs; planning and conducting user research and usability testing; ensuring accessibility compliance; collaborating with developers for implementation; and contributing to the enterprise design system.
   - The consultant will present findings and design rationale to stakeholders and help shape digital transformation initiatives.
 
Required Experience
  - 5+ years of professional UX / UI design experience.
   - Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise-level projects, complex data-entry workflows, and design systems.
   - Advanced proficiency with Figma (prototyping, collaborative workflows, component libraries).
   - Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and validation methods (interviews, A / B testing, analytics).
   - Knowledge of WCAG 2.1+ standards and inclusive design practices
   - Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
 
Required Skills
  - End-to-end UX expertise (Client, design, validation, delivery).
   - Wireframing, prototyping, and UI design for web and mobile applications.
   - Collaboration with developers for high-quality implementation and QA.
   - Contributing to and evolving design systems.
   - Presenting design rationale and research findings to business and technical audiences.
 
Nice To Have
  - Hands-on experience running UX research sessions and workshops.
   - Comfortable bringing stakeholders together and sharing insights in a clear, engaging way.
   - Prior experience designing UX solutions for financial institutions.
