Job summary

Mercor seeks a Visual Designer on a contract basis to craft prompt-based training content for AI in graphic design and UI work. This remote role requires 10–20 hours per week with early to mid August start and rolling applications.

The successful candidate will shape how AI perceives design processes, collaborate with AI research teams, and deliver high-quality visuals for diverse projects. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential, with a background in GenAI prompting preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in graphic or UI design
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia
• Strong background in creating high-quality visual designs with unique aesthetics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Exposure to LLMs and GenAI prompting

Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
