Citi in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an AVP UI-Angular Developer to join the Applications Development team. This hybrid, full‑time role emphasizes designing and implementing multi‑tier web applications, with strong Angular 10–14 experience and a hands‑on coding mindset.

You will work across the development lifecycle, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a cloud‑friendly, microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming/development experience in designing and developing multi-tier web applications.
• Experience with Angular 10/11/12/13/14 and full-stack web development.
• Experience with microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, e.g. MongoDB and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, and develop/implement new or revised applications.
• Monitor and control all development phases from analysis to production, including support for users.
• Act as SME to stakeholders and coach junior analysts, ensuring quality and security in design and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advise on advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure procedures and operating standards are followed and support deployment and post-implementation activities.
