Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a U-Box Customer Care Driver in Prince George, BC. As a CCD, you will handle U-Box containers and provide friendly, courteous service to customers.

This full-time role offers valuable on-the-job training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement, with a pay range of $27–$29 per hour. Applicants must have a High School Diploma, a Canada Class 3 or D license with Air Brake Endorsement, a clean driving record, and be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Canada Class 3 or D Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement and a clean driving record; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck.
• Operate an 8000lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift.
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery.
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g. customers' homes and local businesses.
• Clean motor vehicle driving record.
• Must be 18 or older.

U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck
• Operate an 8000lb pound propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g. customers’ homes and local businesses
• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Canada- Class 3 or D Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement, a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background investigation
• Must be 18 or older

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $27 - $29 Hourly
