Job summary

Native Child and Family Services of Toronto is seeking a Supervisor, Mooka’am who will provide clinical and operational leadership to an interdisciplinary team delivering culturally grounded services to children, youth, adults and families. The role emphasizes Indigenous approaches to healing and strong family-focused practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a closely related field.
  • Three years of clinical supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience supervising staff and coordinating delivery of family-focused services.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous approaches to healing and FNIM communities.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety and relevant acts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises clinical staff delivering counselling to children, youth, adults and families.
  • Oversees partnership with SickKids and ensures readiness of staff.
  • Provides clinical supervision across modalities including child-centered play and attachment-based practice.
  • Leads Two-Eyed Seeing integration of Indigenous knowledge in service delivery.
  • Develops culturally grounded training for staff.
  • Manages staff performance, priorities and disciplinary actions as needed.
