Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal required.
• Must pass a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certificate mandatory.
• Confined Space certification needed.
• H2S Alive certification essential.
• Fall Protection training required.
• Basic Rigging certification necessary.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot errors.

Skills

Knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components

Ability to use testing equipment effectively

Education

Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
