Job summary

A dynamic technology firm in Montreal seeks a Platform TT&C Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise for Tracking, Telemetry and Command subsystems. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a strong RF engineering background. This role involves system design, documentation support, and troubleshooting satellite communication issues. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with communication standards and regulations including ITU, CCSDS and ETSI.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of platform TT&C systems that operate at various frequency bands.
• Perform system-level link budget analyses.
• Support systems engineering documentation.
• Troubleshoot TT&C-related issues on integrated satellite setups.
• Contribute to overall communication concept of operations.

Skills

Strong RF engineering background

Experience with communication subsystems including transceivers, couplers, filters & antennas

Strong written and verbal communications skills in English

Knowledge of French

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
