Job summary

ALPHONSE’S FAMILLY in Brossard is seeking a CHild in-Home Caregiver to care for a child and handle housekeeping duties. The position is permanent, full-time, with 40 hours over 5 days. Workdays include two mornings (7:00–15:00) and three afternoons (10:30–18:30).

Compensation is 19 CAD per hour, with weekend days off typically. Languages: French or English. The role requires a general high school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma completed.
• 1–2 years of experience with children or equivalent studies (midwifery, nursing, or similar).
• Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for a child and perform housekeeping and other domestic tasks.
• Flexibility to accommodate employer shifts (hours vary).
• May oversee house and child care in the parents' absence.
