Job summary

Warman Truss in Warman, SK, is hiring for hands-on positions on a production line assembling roof and floor trusses and wall components. The role requires physical fitness, accuracy, teamwork and adherence to safety policies in a loud, dusty environment.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Permanent employment offers group benefits, a pension plan and profit sharing, with day and night shifts and a $1.50/hr night premium.

Qualifications

• Permanent Canadian residency with ability to communicate in English (read/write).
• Read a tape measure effectively.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, air nail guns and saws.
• Lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.
• High accuracy, quality standards and good manual dexterity.
• Stand for extended periods with required breaks every 2 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and/or floor trusses.
• Construct wall panels, frames and components per blueprints/cut sheets.
• Layout components, stock materials and prep for assembly.
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality compliance.
• Load/band finished materials for shipment and maintain clean work area.
• Operate equipment safely and report malfunctions; follow safety policies.
• Collaborate as part of a team.
