Job summary

Enterprise Holdings in Ottawa is seeking a Full Time Vehicle Service Attendant to clean, detail, and perform light maintenance on a diverse fleet of Medium-Duty trucks at 1615 Laperrière Ave. This on-site role offers a 40-hour work week, paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and retirement benefits, and an employee discount.

Daily responsibilities include cleaning, detailing, and basic vehicle maintenance while upholding safety and service quality as part of the Complete Clean Pledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work the listed schedule (Mon Tue Thu Fri Sat).

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely on and off the lot and assist with local deliveries.
• Check and maintain fluid levels.
• Notify manager of unsafe equipment or vehicle problems.
• Perform basic maintenance such as tire pressure and lights.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Seek self-improvement and training.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Overview

The Enterprise Truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a Full Time Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA). The VSA will be responsible for cleaning, detailing, and providing light maintenance and inspections on a diverse fleet of Medium- Duty trucks. Our Truck Rental Division provides transportation solutions within the truck rental industry.

This is a full-time position located at 1615 LAPERRIERE AVE OTTAWA, ON K1Z 8S7

This position pays $20.00 / hour.

• Monday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Responsibilities

• Drive various vehicles safely and efficiently while on and off the lot and while assisting with local vehicle deliveries and miscellaneous job related duties
• Check and maintain fluid levels on all vehicles
• Notify manager of any potential unsafe equipment, conditions and vehicle problems
• Perform basic maintenance such as tire pressure, check fluids, replace marker lights, the lift gate, etc.
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in clean and working condition
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance

• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's licensewith no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers
• Due to commercial vehicle Hours of Service requirements, this position is not compatible with outside employment. Successful candidates will not be permitted to maintain outside employment
• Apart from religious observations, must be able to work the following schedule(s):
  • Monday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
