SiteTalent is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading provider of sustainable biomass solutions in Northern BC, focused on transforming forestry residuals into high quality wood fiber to be used in energy co-generation. With a commitment to environmental responsibility, safety and operational excellence, they supply biomass materials to domestic and international energy markets. This role is based out of their shop in Fort St James.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Collaborate effectively and courteously with team members
- Complete welding and fabrication projects as assigned (training provided as needed)
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in truck and trailer repair and maintenance
- Red Seal Certification (or working toward it)
- Commercial Vehicle Inspector Certificate is an asset (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to supervise and manage staff
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Physically capable of performing tasks in various conditions, including heavy lifting over 50 lbs

- 8–10 hour workdays with opportunities for overtime
