Job summary

Jencor Limited is seeking a Truck-Tractor Trailer Driver to join a licensed third-party employer posting. Location Georgetown, ON; work location on the road; permanent full-time position; starts as soon as possible; 1 vacancy; wage CAD 36.25 per hour for 30–35 hours per week.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections, monitoring vehicle condition, relaying information to dispatch, recording hours and fuel, and tarping to secure cargo.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • AZ class license required.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Ability to operate GPS and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.
  • Oversee vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes and cargo securing equipment.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
