Responsibilities

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Obtain permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect vehicle condition including tires, lights, brakes and cold storage.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarpaulin and secure cargo safely.

  • Work Must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel l consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
