Responsibilities
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Handle payments for goods.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Credentials
  • AZ class license.
Documentation Knowledge
  • Bill of lading.
  • Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
