Job summary

Contrans Maintenance Group in Blenheim, ON is seeking licensed 310T/310J technicians and apprentices for our growing team. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors and trailers, with a focus on safety and quality.

Reliable transport and your own tool set are required. We offer competitive wages based on experience, health/dental benefits, tool and boot allowances, shift options with premiums, and an apprentice program for students currently enrolled in college.

Qualifications

• Hold a 310T license.

As a Truck and Trailer Mechanic, you will:

• Perform scheduled maintenance service, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
• Work in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Install, dismantle, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tractors, vans, and flatbed trailers.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair.
• Document all work, parts used, and completed inspection sheets.

What we need from you:

• Hold a 310T license. Apprentices at level 2 and above are encouraged to apply.
• Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation to work.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.
• Must own a personal set of tools.
