Qualifications

• Must possess a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license.
• Experience with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles is an asset.
• Must have a willingness to obtain a Class B license (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair school buses and commercial vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately.

First Student is hiring immediately for a licensed Truck and Coach Technician (310T) to join our shop in Sarnia, Ontario.

As a 310T Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet of school buses safe and reliable for the students who depend on us every day.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair school buses and commercial vehicles
• Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately
• Support mobile emergency services when needed

Who We’re Looking For

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license
• Experience with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles is an asset
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G or higher)
• Willingness to obtain a Class B license (school bus) – training provided
• Own a complete mechanic’s tool set
