Job description

We’re looking for a Seasonal Tree Planting Project Manager to lead our planting operations with energy, integrity, and purpose. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is a key part of our Management Team and is responsible for overseeing crews, camps, logistics, and systems during our summer and potentially fall planting seasons.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic outdoor environments, builds strong teams, and leads with a people-first mindset. You’ll be responsible for creating a safe, productive, and respectful workplace where planters feel supported and motivated to return year after year.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within tree planting operations
  • Valid NB Class 5 license (or equivalent), with willingness to obtain Class 4
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule (3 days on / 1 day off)
  • Experience managing camp-based crews is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with operating equipment such as ATVs, skidders, muskeg, side-by-sides is an asset
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams through change and drive performance
