Atlantic Dental Centre in Halifax is seeking a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator to be the primary contact for patients, explain treatment plans, and coordinate scheduling with the dental team. You will present costs, assist with payments and insurance, and help with patient financing options.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required.
• Knowledge of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required.
• Experience with dental software programs is required.
• Strong customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, explaining treatment plans and costs.
• Coordinate appointments and follow-ups with the dental team.
• Present treatment costs, collect payments, and assist with payments plans and insurance claims.
• Build strong patient relationships to encourage treatment acceptance and retention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and optimize chair time with smooth scheduling.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Uphold privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards in all interactions.

Your Role:

About You:

• Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required
• Knowledge and understanding of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required
• Experience with dental software programs is required
• Strong customer service experience
