Overview

Responsibilities
  • Working as an Analyst within the team responsible for the delivery and support of IT services to the following Capital Markets Product Lines, providing 1st and 2nd line “trade floor” support. Trading products include: Commercial Paper; Bonds; Loans & Deposits; Swaps.
  • Specific systems within Treasury trading areas that the team is responsible for (non-exhaustive list): Kondor+ USA or similar application; Orchestrade; Internal Bank Applications; Control M or similar tool.
  • Providing functional and technical support around the relevant systems to users worldwide by (non-exhaustive): Ensuring correct pricing of instruments; Managing platform administration in relation with system providers, both internal and external; Handling STP (Straight-Through Processing) issues; Participating in the 24x7 on-call rota when required; Conforming to all internal policies and procedures; Managing customer relations when dealing directly with internal and external system users; Assisting team members (business or technical analysts); Liaising with users and developers.
  • Working either within the team or independently, and when required acting as or assisting a Project Manager in: Supporting the completion and timely delivery of projects; Performing testing, including writing test scripts for new releases; Tracking time and resources on projects; Maintaining documentation.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years' experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Experience supporting a live trading environment.
  • Technical support experience for Fixed Income desks within an investment bank.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both project teams and users.
  • General understanding of financial markets and products, particularly Fixed Income & Rates.
  • Strong client focus and communication skills.
  • Respect for deadlines and SLAs.
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets systems and products.
  • Technical skills: Unix, SQL, Kondor+ (mandatory), Orchestrade (nice to have).
  • Linguistic knowledge: French and English.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
