A leading educational organization in Vancouver is seeking a Travel Sales Consultant to drive growth through outreach to teachers across Canada. This role requires a natural ability to connect with individuals, a goal-oriented mindset, and the drive to forge new relationships, while offering an excellent hybrid working model and comprehensive benefits.
Travel Sales Consultant, Western Canada EF Educational Tours Full Time : Monday-Friday, 9am-5 : 30pm Entry-Level Start Date : November 2025 Expected Salary : $45,000 - $60,000 Location : Vancouver, BC - Hybrid (Monday-Thursday on site, Fridays optional WFH)
EF Educational Tours helps teachers change their students’ lives through educational travel, with itineraries designed around experiential learning that spark curiosity, confidence, and connection. Our mission is to open the world through education—helping people see new places, experience new cultures, and discover more about the world and themselves.
As a Travel Sales Consultant, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales team, driving growth through proactive outreach. Your focus will be making outbound calls to teachers across Canada, sparking new conversations every day and turning fresh prospects into long‑term partners. Rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you, you’ll be creating them—introducing educators to the transformative power of educational travel and inspiring them to bring these experiences to their students. You'll build long‑term relationships with your customers and help them along their journey - before, during, and after travel. If you’re energized by the thrill of cold calling, building a pipeline from scratch, and hitting ambitious targets, this is the role for you. Every call is a chance to change lives and open doors to the world.
Acquire and grow your customer base within your assigned territory by identifying, developing, and executing opportunities to drive growth.
Build lasting partnerships with teachers and educators — inspiring them to lead travel programs and helping them every step of the way, from recruitment through safe return home.
Prospect and expand your pipeline through strategic outreach — cold calls, networking, creative email campaigns, and uncovering new markets.
Deliver results by forecasting and achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Communicate effectively through email, phone, video calls, and in‑person meetings to engage and support your customers.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure every tour runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
Sell with purpose — you’re not just selling a product; you’re helping students see the world, grow their confidence, and expand their horizons.
